《Mack The Knife》最初由德国剧作家Bertolt Brecht和作曲家Kurt Weill创作，作为音乐剧《Threepenny Opera（三分钱歌剧）》的一部分。故事围绕着一个名叫Mackie Messer（即英文中的Mack the Knife）的恶棍展开。他是个狡猾、残忍但又极具魅力的人物，通过暴力手段和犯罪活动积累财富，同时还能巧妙地掩盖自己的罪行。
“Oh the shark babe has such teeth dear, And he shows them pearly white”——这里将Mack比喻成鲨鱼，暗示他的危险性和凶残本质。当他露出洁白的牙齿时，就像在向人们展示他的威胁。
“Just a jack knife has old macheath babe, And he keeps it out of sight”——提到Mack随身携带的小刀，象征着他随时准备采取暴力行动，而将其藏起来则表明他的隐秘与不可预测。
